What these terms are

They are the agreement between you and us for using Pelusa. The portal is read without an account, so these terms apply to you by the mere fact of using it. If sign-in with an account is ever switched on, the platform terms will also apply to the account, as those of the central identity used to sign in.

What Pelusa is, and what it is not

Pelusa is a public football archive: matches, calendar, competitions, standings and records, pages of teams, players, coaches, referees and stadiums, "Today in history", a comparison tool, a search box and a forecast.

Pelusa is not a bookmaker or an advisory service: it accepts no bets, does not broker them, does not link to anyone who accepts them and recommends none. Nor does it sell or book anything: there is no price, no subscription, no payment. And it is not the source of the data: a sports data provider, SportMonks, supplies it, and Pelusa sorts it and shows it.

The forecast, and how to read it

The forecast says how likely a match is to end each way, computed from the archive's data —results, published market odds, team statistics— and with its track record in plain sight, so you can judge it.

It is an estimate, not a prediction or a promise. An outcome with a 70% probability fails three times out of ten, and that is what it means.

Acceptable use

By using Pelusa you commit not to:

strain the service with automation that degrades it for others, nor bypass the API's request brake;
extract the provider's data in bulk to reuse or redistribute it: the licence under which we receive it does not allow it. Quoting and linking a page is fine;
copy the application, its texts or its design for another product;
use the portal for anything illegal.

What your browser stores

Pelusa sets no cookies. Your browser stores, on its own, your reading preferences —the language, the theme, the visible columns of a table— and a copy of the front page to open faster. All of it is described, with the exact names, in the cookie policy.

Stadium maps

A stadium page can show an OpenStreetMap map, and only loads it if you press "Load the map". When you do, your browser connects to the servers of the OpenStreetMap Foundation, with its own terms and its own privacy policy. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL licence.

Minors

Pelusa can be read without an account and does not ask your age: it is a football archive, with no betting. If accounts are ever switched on, the platform's minimum age will apply, fourteen years, with the authorisation of whoever holds parental responsibility or guardianship.

Price

Reading Pelusa is free. If there were ever a price for something, we would say so beforehand, on the portal and in these terms, and nothing would be charged that had not been expressly accepted.

Availability and changes to the service

We strive to keep Pelusa available, but we do not guarantee it will work without interruption: it is updated often, there may be maintenance and it may fail. Live data arrives with the delay with which the provider delivers it. We may change, improve or withdraw features.

Warranties and liability

Pelusa is offered "as is", with the care we put into it and without warranty that it is error-free or that the provider's data is accurate or on time. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of profit not caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor for the decisions you make —betting, for instance— based on what you read here, nor for what is on the sites we link to. If you are a consumer, none of this limits the rights your country's law grants you that cannot be excluded.

Suspension

You can stop using Pelusa whenever you want; there is nothing to cancel. We may limit or block access from an address or an automated client that breaches these terms or puts the service at risk.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we change this text and the revision date at the top of the page.

Applicable law and complaints

Italian law applies, being that of the owner's domicile. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and the right to go to the courts of your domicile. Before getting there, write to us: almost everything is solved with an email. The European Union also offers an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
