Pelusa cookies and storage

What the Pelusa portal stores in your browser, and why none of it needs your permission.

Last revised:

This English version is a technical draft without legal review. The Spanish text is the reference version.

This site has no cookies

pelusa.profblu.com sets no cookies and carries no advertising pixels. There is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to. What your browser does store, on its own and without it travelling to the server, are your reading preferences:

What is storedWhyHow longDoes it need your permission?
The language you choseshowing you the portal in that language next timein your browser, until you delete itNo, it is what you yourself asked for
The theme you chose (light or dark)opening the portal as you left itin your browser, until you delete itNo, it is what you yourself asked for

None of this carries an identifier of yours, none of it is sent to the server and none of it serves to track you across sites. Requests to the API carry no cookies or any other identifier: each page requests its data and that is all.

What is loaded from elsewhere

Nothing, when a page opens. Fonts, icons, code and data are served from this same site.

The only exception is up to you: a stadium page can show an OpenStreetMap map, and only loads it if you press "Load the map". From then on it is a page of the OpenStreetMap Foundation inside ours, and its own cookies and its own policy apply. That decision is not stored: the next stadium page asks again.

Visit measurement

Today there is none. The portal carries no measurement program, neither ours nor anyone else's; there is no Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager on Pelusa. If one day visits are measured, it will be as in the rest of the platform —our own program on our own server, without cookies or identifiers— and this page will say so, with the date.

What is logged

The web server logs the requests it receives —IP address, date, resource requested and browser—, like any server, and the API counts each address's requests for one minute to stop abuse. Neither is a cookie, nor serves to track you. It is described in the privacy policy.

If one day you sign in

Today the portal does not offer signing in. When it does, your browser will also store what keeps you signed in without typing your password again and a one-time value that completes the sign-in, and the platform's central sign-in page will set its own session cookie, described in the platform cookie policy. This page will be updated before that happens.

Because it is not needed. Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC and Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI exempt what is strictly necessary to provide a service you expressly asked for, and remembering your language, your theme or your columns, or keeping a copy of the front page to open it faster, is exactly that. A banner asking permission for something that does not happen —advertising cookies, cross-site tracking— would be a false formality. What we do owe you is to describe it precisely, and that is what this page does.

How to delete it

From your browser settings, like any other local data ("site data" or "storage"). You will lose the language and theme you had chosen, and the portal will ask you again.

Technical detail, for whoever wants it

If you want to find each item in your browser and delete them one by one, these are the exact names they are stored under:

Exact nameWhat it is
sports-ui-language (localStorage)the language you chose
prosecco-sports-theme (localStorage)the light or dark theme
the keys starting with sports-portal-, sports.portal. and sports-match- (localStorage), one per tablewhich fields of each filter bar you left visible
eb-chunk-reload-at (sessionStorage)the time of the last automatic reload after a loading failure
